About the position

The Advertising Account Executive at Spectrum Reach is a sales role focused on driving revenue through account management and proactive selling of data-driven media solutions. This position involves cultivating relationships with brands and advertising agencies, understanding their business challenges, and providing tailored media solutions to meet their needs. The role requires effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to adapt to various levels of technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and strategic goals
  • Cultivate and nurture connections with brands and marketing/advertising agencies
  • Recognize business challenges that Spectrum Reach's media solutions can address; connect solutions with business challenges
  • Oversee sales forecasting and reporting for your Book of Business
  • Communicate effectively with external partners, clients, and internal stakeholders with the ability to adapt your style and delivery to many levels of technical expertise
  • Deliver client results that earn repeat business

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally 2+ years in Digital advertising (preferably CTV)
  • Ability to use data in the development and sale of a media strategy
  • Adept at presenting complex solutions in a simple manner
  • Understanding of the media landscape and evolving dynamics of advertising
  • Familiarity with the Adtech ecosystem including ad network, ad exchange, SEM platform, DSP, SSP, and other online advertising technology
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients; confident in negotiating
  • Local and regional travel; valid driver's license and safe driving record

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of client relationships and business excellence
  • Knowledge of media research & planning tools (ie Strata, ComScore, Nielsen, GA4, etc.)
