About the position

The Advertising Videographer at Pensacola Christian College is responsible for supporting the planning, filming, and editing of various video projects. This role requires artistic intuition and technical skills to operate production equipment and edit videos using creative software. The Videographer will work under the guidance of more experienced videographers and will be expected to manage project loads, meet deadlines, and develop personal skills in video production and editing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Lead on project research and planning to meet client expectations.
• Assist in various aspects of shoots including preparation and setup of equipment.
• Perform assigned on-set responsibilities such as camera operator, lighting technician, and audio technician.
• Assist in executing final video production including color correction, text, graphics, and sound design.
• Manage project load to ensure deadlines are met and prioritize projects efficiently.
• Develop skills in production and editing techniques and stay updated on current technology and trends.

Requirements

• College Degree in a related field (Required)
• 1+ years of experience in video camera and editing operations
• 1+ years of experience in video production
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong time management and deadline management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related field
