About the position

As an Advisor Application Architect at Gainwell, you will leverage your expertise in application architecture to enhance the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. This role focuses on utilizing technology to provide innovative solutions to healthcare challenges, while also offering opportunities for personal and professional growth within a supportive and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Expert in account domain with a 360 view of account
  • Provides recommendations on potential threats and risks
  • Implements technical processes to roll out solutions and DevOps pipelines
  • Delivers projects effectively
  • Member of change advisory board and architecture review board
  • Consulted on non-routine problems, providing Level 4 support
  • Participates in escalation calls as needed
  • Can be client-facing when required
  • Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation, and documentation of moderately complex hosting/configuration tools and methodologies
  • Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation, and documentation of routine hosting/configuration tools and methodologies
  • Coordinates with application developers, managers, and customer application experts to ensure required features and modifications are included in appropriate releases
  • Provides high-level analysis and design reviews to avoid duplication of effort in solving application problems
  • Works with third-party vendors to develop and/or integrate their applications into company products, ensuring compliance with product standards and guidelines
  • Collaborates with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements for client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience
  • Experience with architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF
  • Knowledge of software systems, applications, and network markets
  • Familiarity with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies
  • Broad business area knowledge and understanding of competitor products and services
  • Understanding of application design principles and product configurations
  • Proficiency in appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software
  • Experience with mainframes, scheduling software, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and client requirements
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel
  • Experience with healthcare data (e.g., claims, encounters, financials)
