About the position

The Advisor, Finance Operations at Cardinal Health is responsible for managing core financial operation processes, including customer and vendor contract administration, pricing, billing, and cash application. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a transnational finance environment, ensuring compliance with internal controls and service level goals. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and is open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities

• Compute and own the rebate calculation process for complex rebate models.
• Maintain and process SAP Vistex accruals and settlement calculation runs.
• Prepare audit support packages for review and ensure SOX compliance for calculations.
• Obtain payment approvals for processing payments through SAP.
• Complete required reporting packages for customer use.
• Work with offshore team to facilitate data processing requests for rebate payouts.
• Respond to inquiries regarding rebates and admin fees from internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure proper accounting for GPO Admin Fees and Rebates; perform balance sheet reconciliation reviews.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to prioritize and address customer inquiries.
• Investigate issues through root cause analysis and establish preventative measures.
• Maintain and enhance internal SOX control structure.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, or Accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP and general knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Business Objects.
