About the position

The Advisor, On-Premise Hospitality is responsible for enhancing brand and commercial performance across a territory of on-premise accounts for a diverse portfolio of spirits brands. This role leverages industry expertise and strategic business solutions to build long-term relationships with account decision-makers, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and driving brand presence through various engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines.
  • Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in on-premise accounts using strategic engagement activities.
  • Plan, track, and implement brand and portfolio engagement using performance data.
  • Gain insight into consumer trends to inform customer engagement sessions.
  • Utilize social media platforms to support brand initiatives.
  • Manage agency initiatives including budget and expense management, reporting, and performance data tracking.
  • Facilitate opportunities to bring education to on-premise customers.
  • Serve as a liaison between the portfolio, distributor, manager, and customers.
  • Develop knowledge in spirits across several categories and improve presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the spirits or hospitality industry.
  • Distributor or broker experience is a plus.
  • Bar/restaurant/hotel operator experience is a plus.
  • Growing network of industry professionals in the market.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules.
  • Interest in spirits history/production and cocktail culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Persuasive selling and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to tailor communications for various on-premise environments.
  • Deep understanding of market and industry trends.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Social media fluency.
  • Ability to work remotely and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation access.
  • Desire for mentorship and team culture contribution.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking) is a plus.
