About the position

The Advisor role at NorthStar Care Community is focused on developing and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources in the healthcare sector. This position involves strategic marketing and business development activities to enhance customer satisfaction and promote the organization's services. The Advisor will work closely with various healthcare professionals and internal teams to implement marketing strategies and ensure effective customer service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Completes and analyzes monthly reviews of marketing and customer satisfaction information.
  • Assists in identifying, developing, and evaluating marketing and business development strategies.
  • Completes environmental assessment activities for strategic planning.
  • Proactively works with referral sources to meet their needs, including flexible hours.
  • Develops and implements specific marketing and customer service tactics in assigned territories.
  • Works with marketing leadership and clinical managers to foster a customer service orientation among team members.
  • Collaborates with market operations leadership to develop marketing and business development plans.
  • Participates in the market operations team and oversees the deployment of the Marketing & Business Development Plan.
  • Conducts education sessions and in-services for team members on customer service functions.
  • Leads new business proposals and coordinates activities with corporate staff.
  • Promotes the mission of NorthStar Care Community through community engagement and presentations.
  • Participates in quality assurance processes and internal/external training activities.
  • Adjusts to changes in workload and schedules based on organizational priorities.
  • Adheres to organizational policies and the C.A.R.E. Model of Service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in business, health care administration, or related field.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare or hospice strongly preferred.
  • Licensed registered nurse or professional with patient care background and sales/marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
  • Effective organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals that lead to increased business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently and accurately under stress.
  • Proof of current tuberculin testing required.
