About the position

The Advisory Sales Account Executive at iPipeline is a pivotal role focused on driving sales of Data and Analytics products within the Wealth and Life Insurance markets. This position requires a consultative approach to establish and manage executive relationships, expand business within existing accounts, and effectively communicate the value of iPipeline's solutions to prospective customers. The role is office-based in the Corporate Exton office and involves a combination of cold calling, account management, and strategic planning to exceed sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed the sales quota quarterly and annually
  • Cold call and prospect into new accounts
  • Cross-sell and expand presence in existing accounts
  • Develop and manage executive relationships
  • Present and demonstrate to customers and prospects
  • Develop and own the Account Strategy approach and plan, collaborating with VP of Sales and/or President
  • Manage small and large opportunities from start to finish
  • Employ a consultative Sales Approach
  • Respond to RFPs and other customer requests
  • Work with 3rd parties and partners as needed
  • Manage a defined territory with a progressive sales approach
  • Manage accounts, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Act as a leader within the company

Requirements

  • 15+ years of strong consultative software sales experience with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Experience selling Data and Analytics into wealth and life insurance markets
  • Experience in preparing, presenting and demonstrating to an executive audience
  • Knowledge of the wealth and life insurance industry
  • Demonstrated success closing large, complex sales cycles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Organizing and managing customer expectations and deliverables
