About the position

B. Riley Financial is seeking a full-time Manager for its Forensic Accounting practice in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is part of the litigation support division of GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, LLC, which is a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial. The role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around forensic accounting and litigation support, working closely with clients such as lenders, law firms, and private equity sponsors. The Manager will be expected to conduct damages calculations in complex commercial litigation matters, perform corporate internal investigations, and lead fraud investigations and business dispute investigations. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for performing due diligence investigations for potential and existing lenders and investors, and may be required to testify as an expert witness in trials, arbitrations, or similar venues. The position also entails significant leadership responsibilities, including supervising staff, managing resources, and ensuring quality results that meet client satisfaction. The Manager will create detailed, accurate, and timely reports and presentations for clients, providing litigation support and presenting findings that may be used as trial evidence. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of service that B. Responsibilities

  • Conduct damages calculations in complex commercial litigation matters
  • Conduct corporate internal investigations of Board level items
  • Conduct fraud investigations and business dispute investigations
  • Perform due diligence investigations for potential and existing lenders and investors
  • Testify as an expert witness at trial, arbitration or similar venues
  • Assist in case work
  • Supervise staff and interact with clients
  • Manage resources and processes to ensure quality results and client satisfaction
  • Create detailed, accurate, and timely reports and presentations for clients
  • Provide litigation support and present findings to be used as trial evidence

Requirements

  • Must be a CPA
  • 6+ years' experience with direct experience in forensic accounting engagements
  • Expert witness testimony experience desired
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with litigation process and drafting rule 26 reports
  • Excellent business valuation knowledge
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
