About the position

As a Brand Ambassador at American Eagle Outfitters, you will play a crucial role in bringing the brand to life every day. Your primary goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer who enters the store, ensuring that their day is better than before they arrived. You will be the face of the company, representing its values and showcasing your passion for the products. This position requires you to engage with customers using the AEO Selling Model, which emphasizes a friendly and helpful approach to sales. You will educate guests about product details and make personalized product suggestions to meet their needs. Additionally, you will introduce customers to the AEO loyalty program and other brand channels, fostering brand loyalty and connection. In this role, you will need to be adaptable, as you will be required to work in various areas of the store, including the Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room, and Stockroom. Problem-solving skills are essential, as you will proactively address customer concerns while adhering to company policies. Teamwork is a key component of this position, and you will be expected to assist your colleagues in achieving store goals. Integrity is paramount, and you must consistently follow AEO's policies and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy interacting with people, and have a genuine love for AE and Aerie products.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with every guest using the AEO Selling Model to help them find what they are looking for.
  • Educate guests on product details and make product suggestions based on their needs.
  • Introduce customers to the AEO loyalty program and additional brand channels.
  • Flexibly work in different areas of the store, including Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room, and Stockroom.
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns while adhering to company policy.
  • Assist team members in achieving store goals and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to AEO's policies and procedures with integrity.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Previous retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
