About the position

As a full-time Merchandising Team Leader at American Eagle Outfitters, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your primary focus will be on training and coaching your team to deliver exceptional visual standards and guest experiences. You will work closely with the Store Team Leader to drive sales, manage merchandising operations, and ensure the store is always guest-ready.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity.
• Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
• Develop short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
• Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards.
• Lead day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
• Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values and customer service standards.
• Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct team touchbases, development plans, and performance reviews.
• Execute and innovate daily operational procedures and maintain visual standards throughout the store.
• Ensure store safety standards and adhere to AEO's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail management role.
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams with a general understanding of employment law.
• Business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Flexible availability to work when guests shop.
