About the position

The Senior AEM Business Analyst role involves working in a hybrid environment to analyze and improve business processes related to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The position requires a strong technical background, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage dependencies across teams. The analyst will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, ensuring that a lean-agile mindset is applied to projects of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Identify upstream and downstream system/process/data impacts and propose appropriate alternatives/remediation.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences using verbal and written forms.
• Coordinate with teams to manage dependencies and competing priorities.
• Stay current with best-of-breed technologies.
• Participate actively in all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Apply a lean-agile mindset to work projects.
• Break down complex problems and rationally step through them.
• Evolve decisions as new information is gained.
• Connect work with the strategy of the team or department.
• Work independently with subject matter experts to clarify problems and elicit business requirements.
• Demonstrate strong logic and reasoning capabilities.
• Lead discussions with the business on multiple options to solve root causes, including trade-offs and recommended approaches.
• Formulate several possible solutions before seeking help.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing new processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a related technical discipline such as Computer Science.
• Proficient understanding of multiple technologies/applications.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Strong logic and reasoning capabilities.
