About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Frontend Lead Developer with 10 to 13 years of experience to join our team. This role involves managing projects that leverage AEM technologies to drive business success and societal impact. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AEM support system engineering, frontend, backend, and authoring, with a background in bioinformatics being a plus. You will work alongside forward-thinking minds to help customers transform their business and achieve key goals in the digital economy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of AEM projects.
• Understand business requirements/UI UX design, validate feasibility, and translate them into technical requirements.
• Apply software development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Build reusable components for future use.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Ensure the quality and performance of AEM applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM solutions with other systems.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements

• 10 to 13 years of experience in AEM support system engineering, frontend, backend, and authoring.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript libraries/frameworks like React JS, Vue JS, and Angular.
• Good knowledge of core web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of responsive web design frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI.
• Good knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in risk management and mitigation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with the bioinformatics domain (nice to have).
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
