As part of the General Tree Care crew, employees will engage in daily activities that include pruning, tree removals, and cable bracing, all while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of the General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care services.
  • Engage in all aspects of tree care including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
  • Safely operate all necessary equipment and perform assigned job tasks.
  • Provide excellent service to clients while maintaining the health and well-being of their landscapes.
  • Apply expertise in climbing and tree care safety standards.

Requirements

  • Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
  • Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
  • Ability to climb trees without the use of spurs.
  • Experience with tree care safety standards and practices.
  • Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
  • Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
  • Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
