About the position

The Aerial Drop Technician position involves working on aerial drops in New Orleans, LA, focusing on re-hanging, repairing, and reconnecting drop lines. This role is primarily outside and does not involve customer interaction. Technicians will be responsible for updating progress through specific forms and ensuring that drop lines are operational. The position offers competitive pay and requires technicians to have their own vehicle and tools.

Responsibilities

• Re-hang drop lines that are down.
• Repair broken drop lines as needed.
• Reconnect disconnected drop lines.
• Update progress through PD or JOT forms.
• Work independently on the road without customer interaction.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Experience in cabling, satellite, home security, or telecommunications (DIRECTV, CABLE, VIASAT, Sudden Link, Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, or DISH NETWORK).
• Must have own van or truck capable of carrying a 28' ladder.
• Ability to work outside in various conditions.
