About the position

The Aero Alliance Repair Development Product Manager will oversee productivity and deliverables across the repair network, focusing on support for both internal and external shops. This role involves collaboration with GE Aerospace and the global vendor network to enhance product cost efficiency, improve turnaround times, and achieve key outcomes for the Aero Alliance and its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Track productivity program output and measure benefits in production.
  • Facilitate engine delivery and manage contact with L5 vendors for DR tracking and resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Turn Around Time for Level 5 repairs across the supply chain of Aeroderivative technology.
  • Drive partnerships for improvement in GEA L5 Shops performance through recurrent reviews.
  • Ensure timely execution of repair activities and support shops for critical issues.
  • Implement strong operating rigor on execution and process improvement for Departure Records to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to execute repairs effectively.
  • Define the most beneficial repair strategy in the Americas Region to boost repair value.
  • Support visibility for total productivity from repair programs in collaboration with the Cost Out team.
  • Partner with Operations to maximize control over internal and external vendor performance.
  • Explore potential cost-out projects with the Cost-Out Team based on ideas generated during AWO & sharing sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Production Control, Product Management, Engineering, or relevant technical functions.
  • Demonstrable competence in the Aeroderivative repair sector.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience with Aeroderivative Gas Turbines is advantageous.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
