Responsibilities

• Work jointly with ownership and staff
• Collaborate with clients to meet their requirements
• Input first article and existing article quotations
• Ensure manufacturability of designs
• Utilize internal documentation and templates for best practices
• Receive and delegate tasks to/from Machinists and CNC staff
• Help direct the build of tooling to meet customer deadlines
• Follow common safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years of experience as an aerospace design engineer
• Proficiency in Siemens NX Unigraphics, SolidWorks, and/or Pro-E
• 1 - 2 years' experience modeling/designing for aerospace core/wax dies, jet engine blades/vanes, and auxiliary parts/equipment
• Good time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and accuracy
• Ability to coordinate with others on multiple project designs
• Ability to work independently and drive projects towards completion
• Common computer experience outside of modeling programs, including Microsoft Office products
