About the position
The position involves performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and effectiveness analyses for complex systems. The role requires translating customer requirements into total systems solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The candidate will conduct technical analysis to support customers in optimizing the performance of large systems, utilizing simulation tools and models for detailed analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Conduct technical analysis to support customers in making informed decisions.
- Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models for detailed technical analysis.
- Review and interpret system performance specifications to ensure accurate evaluation of desired performance.
- Evaluate and interpret analysis results, presenting them to customers with recommended actions.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science or similar technical discipline.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/poly clearance.
- High degree of computer literacy with the ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools.
- Competence/experience in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C+, or R.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to identify and describe system issues accurately.
- Ability to write and speak confidently and clearly for technical meetings.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
