Responsibilities
- Prepare aerospace components by cleaning, sanding, and ensuring surfaces are primed for painting or powder coating, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Apply paints and powder coatings using spray guns and electrostatic equipment, following all safety protocols to ensure a flawless finish.
- Inspect finished products for uniformity and quality. Perform touch-ups as needed to meet specifications and maintain high standards.
- Regularly maintain and troubleshoot painting and powder coating equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Accurately record materials used, production runs, and inspection results as part of our quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in aerospace painting or powder coating is preferred.
- Experience with NADCAP certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and documentation.
