About the position

The Flight Readiness Technician Inspector (Level C) role involves performing critical inspections and tests on flight test installations and aircraft systems. The technician will ensure the functionality and safety of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems, while also conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts and a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
• Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to identify and document faults.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, and inspect maintenance and modifications.
• Resolve issues during operation and testing of deliverable products.
• Verify the accuracy of work performed.
• Assist in pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance.
• Plan and schedule activities with lead assistance; work reviewed for adequacy.

Requirements

• FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or equivalent experience to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate.
• 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
• 1+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience.

• Experience with the 787 Program.
• Team environment experience.
• Formal or informal team leadership experience.
• Airline/MRO/Overhaul experience.
• Experience with computing and operating systems.
• A&P license preferred.
