About the position

The Aesthetic Medical Assistant position at Freezeology involves providing support in a medical aesthetic practice, focusing on non-surgical aesthetic treatments. The role requires a blend of medical assisting skills and a passion for aesthetics, with responsibilities including patient consultations, treatment planning, and assisting in procedures. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-oriented, and committed to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Effectively assess and create customized patient treatment plans while aligning patient goals to treatment expectations.
• Cold call via phone and text to bring curious & interested warm leads in for complimentary consults.
• Facilitate in-person consultations and present pricing information confidently to patients.
• Accurately capture before, during, and after photos of patients seeking treatment.
• Create a positive experience and build rapport with each patient to foster long-term relationships.
• Consistently show up for scheduled hours in a part or full-time position, including evening hours and weekends.
• Confidently and safely deliver treatments upon training that render excellent patient outcomes.
• Conduct oneself in a way that reflects well upon the practice and support the team with compassion and a positive attitude.
• Attend and support promotional activities for the practice, including open houses and charity events.
• Manage inventory and maintain a tidy office environment.
• Assist the physician in all procedures and work at the front desk to answer phones, schedule appointments, and take payments.

Requirements

• Valid Esthetician License
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification
• Experience in medical assisting
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients
• Experience in aesthetics (1 year preferred)
• Appointment booking experience (1 year preferred)
• High school diploma or GED

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Interest in aesthetics and non-surgical treatments
• Experience in customer service
• Knowledge of skincare and cosmetic procedures
