About the position

The Operations Manager for AFCAP V is responsible for overseeing the operational management of government services projects, ensuring financial success while meeting customer commitments. This role requires a strong understanding of operations processes and the ability to represent the organization as a domain expert. The position involves significant budget responsibility and requires coordination among various resource managers to ensure contract performance and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the AFCAP V Program Manager.
• Ensure overall contract performance and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Plan, manage, and resolve customer requests and inquiries related to operations.
• Coordinate activities between resource managers to meet necessary reviews and approvals.
• Maintain a safe workplace and prioritize safety in all operations.
• Analyze and advise employees on administrative and operating policies and procedures.
• Function as the principal operations representative for the Site Manager.
• Support U.S. deployed forces and share information with team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience.
• Experience in contingency environments and government contracts.
• U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Driver's License.
• U.S. Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
