About the position

The Software Developer 2 position at Oracle is aimed at engineers with a strong background in distributed systems and software development. Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack, cloud-based web services solutions with high scalability, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to deliver complex large-scale projects.
• Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks.
• Build enhancements within existing software architecture and suggest improvements.
• Show initiative and enthusiasm in tackling challenging problems with innovative designs.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of total experience in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with customer-facing feature implementation and launching into production.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment.
