Responsibilities

• Teach chess to students in grades K-6.
• Prepare for classes, including setup and dismissal.
• Engage students with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• 3 years of chess playing experience.
• Understanding of chess terms such as Castling, Pin, Fork, Skewer, En Passant, Stalemate, and Checkmate.
• Passion for teaching and a love of learning.
• Reliable transportation and cellphone.
• Availability between 12am and 5pm on weekdays.
• Ability to pass a TB test and background check upon hiring.
