About the position
The After School Director is responsible for overseeing the Champions Before and After School Programs in Ashland, MA. This part-time role focuses on providing a safe and engaging environment for children, ensuring compliance with state guidelines, and utilizing skills in early childhood education to foster development and learning. The position requires strong organizational and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Champions Before and After School Programs.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific guidelines for early childhood education.
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Utilize skills in early childhood education to foster development and learning.
- Manage multiple tasks and situations effectively.
Requirements
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
- Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Proficiency in using a computer
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
