About the position

The Irvington Public Schools is seeking an After School Enrichment Lead Teacher for the Union Avenue Middle School. This position is part of the Middle School Clubs/After School Enrichment Teachers category. The program will run from January 2025 to June 2025, with working hours from 3:05 P.M. to 4:05 P.M. The salary will be determined as per the collective bargaining agreement and is pending availability of funds. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage after school enrichment activities for middle school students.
• Ensure a safe and engaging environment for students during after school hours.
• Collaborate with other staff and teachers to enhance the enrichment program.

Requirements

• Appropriate Certification for teaching.
• Experience working with middle school students.
