About the position

The After School Enrichment Teacher (Playologist) position at Mind Games is a part-time role focused on leading engaging board game classes for elementary school students. The role emphasizes creating a fun and educational environment that enhances learning through play, targeting students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The position requires a commitment of approximately one hour a day, four to five days a week, during after-school hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead board game classes for elementary school students.
• Manage a classroom of up to 24 students.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
• Arrive at the class by 1:45pm to prepare for the session.
• Stay until all students are dismissed, around 3:15pm.

Requirements

• Willingness to be cleared through the Palm Beach County School District as a vendor.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate class timings.
• Ability to get up and down from the floor during activities.
• Commitment to at least 4-5 afternoon classes per week.
• Experience working in elementary education classrooms (1 year required).
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality to engage and inspire students.
