About the position

The After School Pick up Sitter position is designed for an individual who will provide childcare for three children aged 8 and 5, focusing on after-school activities and support. The role requires a blend of professionalism and a fun-loving attitude, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for the children while fulfilling various family requests.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the kids from school.
• Prepare after school meals and snacks for the next day.
• Ensure homework is completed.
• Help keep the children's bedrooms and living spaces tidy.
• Load dishes into the dishwasher and update shopping lists as necessary.
• Implement the family's provided Care Guide to ensure the well-being and development of the children.
• Create and organize play activities for the children.
• Transport children to local enriching activities.
• Facilitate intellectually stimulating learning opportunities tailored to each child's needs and interests.
• Fulfill additional tasks as requested by the client, including errands, family meal preparation, grocery shopping, organizing, family laundry, and light housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.
• Strong communication skills.
