About the position

Robothink LLC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Program Coordinator-Teacher to join our team in Deerfield, IL. As a leader in STEM education, we provide coding, robotics, and engineering programs to nurture young minds across 11 countries. Our mission is to inspire students aged 5-14 through engaging after-school and enrichment classes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching our curriculum in a friendly and energetic environment, ensuring that students are not only learning but also having fun. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work at various locations in and around Deerfield, IL. We are looking for individuals who are confident, responsible, and passionate about education, and who can bring a positive attitude to our classes. Comprehensive paid training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Arriving at class locations at the required time with consistent and unfailing punctuality.
• Bringing robotic kits to and from classes and keeping them safe in between classes.
• Supervising classes in an energetic and friendly environment by following the Robothink curriculum.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with children in a learning environment is preferred.
• Confident, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Friendly, energetic personality and patience to work with children of all ages.
• Passion for educating and teaching.
• Must have access to reliable means of transportation to get to classes at varying locations on time.
• No prior experience in STEM or robotics is needed; comprehensive paid training is provided.
