Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist children with their homework, arts and crafts, and the development of essential teamwork and social skills.
- Develop engaging instructional methods that captivate participants' interests.
- Inspect facilities for potential hazards and promptly report broken equipment to your supervisor.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct recreation and athletic programs tailored to the community's needs.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of safety hazards and necessary precautions to create a safe environment for all participants.
- Knowledge of basic fundamentals and techniques related to athletics, fitness, cultural/social activities, and arts and crafts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and their families.
- Creativity and innovation in developing captivating programming.
- Organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities successfully.
