About the position

The After School Sports Coach position at Level UP Enrichment involves inspiring and teaching children in various sports and physical activities. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids and have a flexible schedule, as the programs are conducted in the afternoons. Coaches will be responsible for delivering pre-written curriculum in a fun and engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Teach various sports and physical activities to children in grades K-6.
• Inspire and motivate students through engaging lessons in basketball, tennis, dodgeball, kickball, dance, and fitness classes.
• Travel to assigned schools to conduct classes from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Utilize provided materials and curriculum to deliver lessons effectively.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while working with students.

Requirements

• A valid First Aid Certification is preferred.
• Experience in teaching or assisting in a classroom setting.
• Reliable transportation and a cellphone for communication.
• Availability between 12 PM and 5 PM on weekdays.
• Ability to pass a background check upon hiring.
