About the position
The After School Teacher position at KinderCare Education involves working with children in an environmentally-friendly program, focusing on inspiring learning and growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and engage a classroom of children in after-school activities.
- Create unique and engaging classroom experiences using the provided curriculum.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during activities.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience working with children.
- 12 completed college units in Child Development or a related field, or a current Child Development Associate Permit or higher.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in physical activities with children.
- Strong desire to make a difference in children's lives and a love for teaching.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in childcare for at least one year.
