About the position

The Aftermarket Parts Salesperson will be a key member of the 4WP/ORW retail store sales team, focusing on sales and customer service of aftermarket automotive components. This role requires a passion for automotive products and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates excellent service by greeting, engaging, and connecting with all customers
  • Drives sales by utilizing suggestive selling techniques and product knowledge to promote and sell additional parts and services
  • Informs customers with questions and inquiries while communicating monthly sales and promotions
  • Skillfully fosters customer relationships to cultivate loyalty and build customer retention through in-person interactions and social media
  • Contributes to inventory control and shrinkage percentages by thoroughly organizing, monitoring, and displaying parts and products
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and development of professional skill set
  • Understands and adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
  • Maintains store cleanliness and appearance to uphold a safe and secure work environment
  • Works with the team to provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in lift kit, wheel and tire application knowledge, and general aftermarket Jeep and Truck accessories
  • Continually meet or exceed monthly targets in labor, merchandise, and warranty sales percentages
  • Discover the essential steps of the sales journey including effective selling techniques and proven industry methods
  • Proficiency with operating computer software, parts database, and point of sales systems
  • Always maintain a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles - subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and team lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with both internal and external parties
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and work orders
  • Must be able to work scheduled store hours at specific location
