The Security Officer position at United Protective Services involves providing security detail at a client site in The Woodlands, Texas. The role requires operating a company vehicle to patrol the premises, reporting security and safety issues, and maintaining a professional image while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Patrol physical property or maintain a fixed post position, reporting any suspicious activity and investigating accidents and criminal acts.
• Monitor cameras or equipment continuously as outlined in the post orders.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, Logbook entries, Incident Reports, and all relevant reports related to job assignment.
• Communicate daily with the Security Supervisor regarding new security issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Ensure continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors.
• Make recommendations to management on improvements to safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine.
• Establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments.

Requirements

• Must have no more than 3 moving violations and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to maintain a professional image in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to greet customers, visitors, and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
• Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV systems, and other relevant equipment.
