About the position

The Assistant Two Year Old Teacher at Kiddie Academy of New Braunfels is responsible for nurturing and educating toddlers in a safe and engaging environment. This part-time role focuses on implementing the proprietary curriculum to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged two years. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and possess a strong understanding of early childhood development, particularly in a potty training setting.

Responsibilities

• Customize and deliver the Kiddie Academy proprietary curriculum.
• Execute lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Encourage self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
• Mediate conflict between students.
• Model appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
• Ensure that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
• Communicate with parents to learn more about each child's life outside the classroom.
• Conduct evaluations to inform parents about their children's progress at school.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• At least 18 Years Old
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a preschool setting
• A passion for working with babies
• Patient, nurturing and thoughtful
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand as a positive role model for impressionable minds
• A passion for early childhood development
• Excellent problem-solving skills
