About the position

The In-Home Personal Care Assistant at SYNERGY HomeCare of Knoxville is responsible for providing compassionate care to clients in their homes. This role focuses on non-medical support, ensuring clients receive the attention they need while fostering a warm and engaging environment. Caregivers will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, enhancing their quality of life through companionship and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to clients' non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.

Requirements

• A genuine desire to help others and provide care.
• Ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
• Strong communication skills and a warm demeanor.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
• CPR certification (provided at no cost to caregiver).
