About the position

The Afternoon Teacher and/or Floater position at Creative Kids Learning Center involves providing support to full-time teachers in a childcare setting. This role is ideal for high school or college students seeking their first job, with flexible hours available in the afternoons. Floaters have the opportunity to cover breaks and substitute for teachers on leave, with the potential for promotion to full-time positions within a few months.

Responsibilities

• Relieve full-time teachers during afternoon hours.
• Assist in supervising and engaging with students ranging from infants to 6th grade.
• Cover breaks for teachers a few times a week.
• Substitute for teachers who are on vacation or sick.
• Complete required training within 90 days of hire, including ELCCT and CPR/First Aid training.

Requirements

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to work Monday to Friday from 3-6 or 3:30-6.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in childcare or teaching (Entry level)
