About the position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, is seeking an exceptional and talented Aftersales Marketing Specialist to join our team at the Greenville, NC headquarters. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Aftersales parts marketing department by managing various marketing and operational functions. The specialist will be responsible for supplier price updates, part number setup and changes, and identifying the causes of price and invoice discrepancies. Additionally, the role involves ensuring data hygiene and integrity, as well as generating ad hoc reports to support the department's objectives. The Aftersales Marketing Specialist will maintain accurate supplier information and contract statuses, conducting supplier reviews and scorecards to ensure compliance with HYG commercial requirements. This position also involves supporting e-commerce initiatives related to product content and online merchandising efforts. The specialist will provide assistance to dealers, suppliers, and customers regarding Aftersales parts and accessories, delivering solutions for various requests through phone calls, emails, and contact management tickets. To excel in this role, the specialist must possess in-depth knowledge of the Aftersales solution platform, suppliers, and sales processes to provide timely support to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be an articulate and informative communicator who can effectively converse and present to stakeholders, as well as problem-solve and manage internal communications to accomplish initiatives. Critical thinking skills are essential for analyzing data trends and creating effective solutions. A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to meet deadlines and established objectives is also necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Aftersales parts marketing department through the administration of marketing and operations functions.
  • Maintain accurate supplier information and contract status, completing supplier reviews and scorecards to ensure compliance with HYG commercial requirements.
  • Help support e-commerce regarding product content and other online merchandising efforts.
  • Provide support to dealers, suppliers, and customers specific to Aftersales parts and accessories.
  • Deliver support and solutions for multiple requests in the form of phone calls, e-mails, and contact management tickets.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Aftersales solution platform, suppliers, and sales processes to provide timely support to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Entry level professional position with a BS Degree.
  • Experience in a customer service role or system support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced with cloud-based systems.
