About the position

This part-time position is designed for University of North Dakota (UND) students to create and implement lesson plans for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade as part of an after-school program. The role involves preparing snacks, cleaning facilities, and planning activities for elementary students. The program operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and the position is fully remote, although it is non-benefited and requires a Federal Work Study award.

Responsibilities

  • Create lesson plans for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade for the after-school program.
  • Prepare snacks for the students.
  • Clean facilities used by the program.
  • Plan activities for elementary students enrolled in the program.

Requirements

  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester.
