Butler Machinery Company is seeking a dedicated and motivated Equipment Sales Professional to join our team in Pierre, SD. With over 900 associates across 20 locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Montana, we are looking for someone who shares our passion and vision for the agricultural industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and promoting Butler's entire lineup of agricultural and application equipment to agricultural producers, professional applicators, and cooperatives. You will utilize a company-assigned vehicle to sell both new and used equipment, ensuring that you provide valuable customer service and real solutions to meet their needs. Building customer loyalty is essential, and you will achieve this by following up on service or parts transactions and delivering demonstrations of equipment features and benefits, effectively communicating their value to customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing and processing all necessary documentation and paperwork associated with sales transactions. This position requires a dedication to customer satisfaction, a passion for agricultural equipment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and developing solutions. Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and promote Butler's entire line of Ag and application equipment to Ag producers, professional applicators, and cooperatives.
  • Sell new and used Ag and Application equipment using a company-assigned vehicle.
  • Provide valuable customer service with real solutions.
  • Build customer loyalty by following up on service or parts transactions.
  • Deliver and demonstrate equipment features/benefits and communicate their value to customers.
  • Complete and process all documentation and paperwork.

Requirements

  • Dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Passion and basic knowledge of Ag/Application equipment.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience.
  • Ability to problem solve and develop solutions.
  • Self-driven motivation and personal accountability.
