About the position

The AG/Commercial Credit Analyst position at Security Savings Bank involves supporting loan officers with new and existing loan transactions while adhering to established bank policies and procedures. The role is crucial for achieving customer satisfaction and revenue objectives, providing opportunities for professional growth within the company. Responsibilities

• Spread and analyze new Ag and Commercial relationships to the bank.
• Complete annual reviews of existing credit relationships with the bank.
• Partner with loan officers to prepare credit presentations for the Executive Loan Committee.
• Engage with various departments, including executive management, regarding various bank functions.
• Comply with all bank and regulatory requirements.
• Assist bank management in preparing and monitoring various department reports to track credit trends and credit quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or a relevant field.
• 4-5 years of credit analyst experience in the financial (banking) industry, preferably with Lending Cloud or similar software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze simple to complex financial statements.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• High level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to multi-task and organize priorities.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lending Cloud (Moody's based financial spreading).
• Leadership skills for credit policy implementation and training.
