About the position

Horizon Financial Bank is seeking an Ag/Commercial Loan Officer for their Bismarck location. The role involves managing an existing loan portfolio primarily focused on agricultural and commercial loans, as well as expanding this portfolio. The ideal candidate will provide professional service to both current and potential customers, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial statements and loan underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing loan portfolio comprised of agricultural and commercial loans.
• Expand the loan portfolio by attracting new clients.
• Provide professional service to current and potential customers.
• Understand and analyze financial statements for loan underwriting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, economics, or a similar field, or equivalent experience in lending.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while providing excellent customer service.
• Self-motivated with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
