About the position

The Ag Equipment Sales position at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT involves building strong customer relationships with key agricultural grower accounts in Minnesota. Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships with key Ag grower accounts.
  • Develop and grow sales in the agricultural equipment sector.
  • Provide customer support and technical assistance.
  • Plan and schedule operational activities for Ag grower customers.
  • Focus on operational optimization for customers.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of Ag Equipment Sales experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of farm equipment and current technology trends.
  • Knowledge of farming practices in southeastern Minnesota.
  • Understanding of crop inputs such as crop protection, fertilizer, and seed.
  • Good understanding of area Ag retailers and their functions.
  • Customer-service focused with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Desire to be involved in community activities and trade shows.
  • Clean driving record.
