About the position
The Ag Equipment Sales position at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT involves building strong customer relationships with key agricultural grower accounts in Minnesota. Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships with key Ag grower accounts.
- Develop and grow sales in the agricultural equipment sector.
- Provide customer support and technical assistance.
- Plan and schedule operational activities for Ag grower customers.
- Focus on operational optimization for customers.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of Ag Equipment Sales experience.
- Excellent knowledge of farm equipment and current technology trends.
- Knowledge of farming practices in southeastern Minnesota.
- Understanding of crop inputs such as crop protection, fertilizer, and seed.
- Good understanding of area Ag retailers and their functions.
- Customer-service focused with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Desire to be involved in community activities and trade shows.
- Clean driving record.
