About the position

The Asset Manager II is responsible for the daily oversight and management of an assigned portfolio of multifamily loans, focusing on risk mitigation efforts. This role serves as the primary point of contact for monitoring emerging risks and collaborating with borrowers and investors to seek remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert on Asset Management tasks
  • Analyze financial statements and property operating statements
  • Conduct property inspections
  • Review reserve draws
  • Process consent requests, including related review of loan documents and other agreements
  • Manage client relationships, providing excellent customer servicing while enforcing loan document/lender requirements
  • Perform ongoing risk analysis, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring
  • Prepare action plans and present recommendations to executive management
  • Conduct market research and prepare market reports
  • Prepare loan and portfolio level status reports
  • Comply with all Investor monitoring and reporting requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of commercial real estate asset management experience
  • 6+ years of experience analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower financial statements
  • 6+ years of asset management experience with managing Fannie Mae Multifamily loans
