About the position

As an Agency Representative at Harrington Insurance Agency LLC, you will engage with new prospects and build strong relationships within the community. This role focuses on providing insurance products that help customers protect their homes, cars, and other assets while ensuring their peace of mind. You will utilize your insurance knowledge and sales skills to enhance customer understanding of insurance value and foster long-term relationships, contributing to the agency's growth through new business acquisition, cross-selling, and customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new business and write new policies.
• Service and maintain existing policies.
• Actively solicit referrals from new clients and prospects.
• Meet monthly production requirements and goals.
• Attend community events.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Work with agents within the agency to achieve growth goals and objectives.
• Create and maintain organized and efficient systems for servicing clients and policies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Analyze customer needs and offer relevant insurance products.
• Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage.
• Ensure a positive customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency
• Active State of Iowa Property & Casualty Insurance License
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's License
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Customer service experience (4 years preferred)
• Sales experience (2 years preferred)
• Insurance knowledge (2 years preferred)
• Computer skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
• Business to Customer Sales experience
