The Agent Channel Sales Manager - Performance Marketing will be directly responsible for the recruitment, guidance, and communication with all Agent Vendors operating within the agent assigned performance marketing channel. The individual in this role is responsible for achieving or exceeding planned sales budget for the agent channel by training, motivating, and monitoring all agent vendors. This position will also be responsible to ensure all agent vendors understand and execute the sales strategy and set sales goals for the agent vendors. The primary responsibilities include recruiting, qualifying, and managing Performance Marketing Agents, implementing channel programs and policies as directed by corporate leadership, and managing the channel portfolio effectively to avoid potential conflicts with other sales team members. The Agent Channel Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to manage the system's channel portfolio effectively, coordinate marketing materials and messages provided to Agents, and ensure compliance with corporate/regional marketing materials and messages. This role also involves tracking Agent Agreements to expiration, ensuring compliance, and determining whether Agents should be renewed at the end of the Agreement period. Additionally, the Agent Channel Manager will conduct reviews of direct reports to ensure that performance standards are met and take immediate action to improve performance levels if necessary. Ensuring customer satisfaction through timely installation of products/services sold by Agents is crucial, as is responding to Agent inquiries regarding installation timeliness and related issues. The role requires continuous updates to Agents on new products, product changes, and rate changes, as well as remaining current on technical information regarding telephony, data, and video communications, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), networking, and management through completion of required/recommended training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates payments to Agents, ensuring compliance with Agent Agreements
  • Tracks disconnects and chargebacks to Agents, ensuring reconciliation against payments
  • Conducts reviews of direct reports to ensure performance standards are met
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through timely installation of products/services sold by Agents
  • Responds to Agent inquiries regarding installation timeliness and related issues
  • Ensures rate sheets are updated for products and services in compliance with corporate/regional guidelines
  • Continuously updates Agents on new products, product changes, and rate changes
  • Remains current on technical information regarding telephony, data, and video communications, CPE, networking, and management through training programs

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of job-related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field or a master's degree and 4 years' experience
  • Proven skills with interpersonal leadership, presentation, and collaboration to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
  • Preferred 2 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross-functional projects
  • Strong relationships and historical success in the Performance Marketing community
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
