About the position

The Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities in Northern Colorado. This role involves selling company products, performing sales collections, and establishing strong connections with contractors and purchasing employees at various levels of government. The representative will also be tasked with researching market needs, pricing products, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current customer base and solicit new business.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers.
  • Investigate new markets and products.
  • Research project requirements and determine sales prospects.
  • Establish prices in the accounting system for products and services.
  • Quote prices for products and freight to customers.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports.
  • Monitor customer job progress and accuracy of product tickets and orders.
  • Perform credit collection on past due accounts.
  • Assist in dispatch when needed.
  • Work closely with managers to determine customer requirements and product availability.
  • Ensure a safe and healthful work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in sales, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to review and analyze financial information.
  • Strategic thinking skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of concrete and aggregate products.
