Agile Coach (Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN) - HYBRID

About the position

We are seeking an Agile Coach to join our team in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting September 1. The role is a 6-month contract with the potential for hire, offering an hourly pay rate of up to $79.47 on a W2 basis. Please note that due to client requirements, only Green Card holders and U.S. Citizens are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and practices to enhance their performance and delivery.
• Work with product owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
• Support the organization in its Agile transformation journey by providing training and guidance.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Coach or in a similar role within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and guide teams in Agile practices and principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).
• Experience in a contract-to-hire environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
