About the position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Agile practitioner with a proven track record in coaching teams and facilitating Scrum processes. You will play a crucial role in guiding our Agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and ensuring the successful implementation of Agile principles and practices. This position requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and the ability to adapt them to specific project needs. As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for coaching Agile teams on best practices, principles, and techniques, helping them to improve their performance and effectiveness. You will also facilitate cultural change within the organization, promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. In your role, you will identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow. You will share knowledge and best practices with the team, fostering a culture of learning and growth. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum events, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, promoting a collaborative and iterative approach to development. Supporting the team in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and maximizing their productivity will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will identify areas for improvement in the Scrum process and implement changes to enhance team efficiency while effectively communicating with all stakeholders to foster a collaborative and transparent environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide team discussions and workshops.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.
  • A resourceful and adaptable problem-solver with a 'get things done' attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic understanding of software development principles and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of the insurance industry and its customer needs.
