About the position

The Agile Coach role involves leading Agile transformation efforts within an organization by providing tailored recommendations and guiding teams through decision-making processes. The position focuses on integrating Agile practices effectively, especially in scenarios where traditional frameworks may not be applicable. The coach will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile transformation efforts by assessing current processes and tailoring Agile practices to fit the organization's unique needs.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to product teams in adopting Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Recommend non-traditional Agile approaches and guide teams through decision-making processes where flexibility is required.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate teams on Agile concepts and best practices, tailored to the company's needs.
  • Collaborate with product owners, managers, and executives to ensure alignment between Agile practices and business objectives.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and performance by optimizing processes, practices, and tools.
  • Monitor Agile performance and provide data-driven insights to guide improvements and decision-making.
  • Support the organization in managing change by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and helping teams adapt to Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading Agile transformations across diverse teams and environments.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) with the ability to adapt them to real-world challenges.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills to guide teams through complex Agile adoption.
  • Expertise in overcoming roadblocks and providing alternative Agile approaches when traditional methods don't fit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps) and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorships are not available.
