About the position

The Agile Development Coordinator at Hobby Lobby is responsible for spearheading feature development for the Art/Creative Department's in-house project management application. This role involves collaborating with leadership and advocating for user needs, ensuring that project progress aligns with the company's vision. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leadership to strengthen a cooperative culture of partnering with our team and developers.
• Guide the team through the iterative process of development to ensure that solutions fit into the big-picture vision.
• Anticipate and communicate potential obstacles, analyze root causes, and triage resolutions both preemptively and as issues arise.
• Forge, maintain, and grow exceptional working relationships across the Department and the Company.
• Effectively and positively provide direction and feedback to team members throughout the app development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications in a related field with demonstrated project management skills.
• Proficient with Mac and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience or knowledge of coding and/or database management is helpful, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience in app development or project management software
